Peter Vaško’s work at Grant Thornton includes leading projects in the area of sustainability, transactional consulting and corporate finances.
His career in the world of consulting began in 2007 and ever since then he has been a client’s support in running a business. Peter‘s expertise shines especially in financial modelling, pricing and cost-benefit analyses, mainly in sectors like engineering, energetics, healthcare and hi-tech start-ups.
His current focus lies on sustainability projects, like determining the matrix of double materiality, setting up CSRD reporting, or the climate risk assessment.
Before his consulting career, Peter worked for 7 years in a number of prominent Slovak and foreign financial companies as an investment manager. Over the course of his career, he gained new perspectives and experiences in the whole spectrum of economy’s sectors.
His projects of reference include the study on the feasibility of a municipal enterprise of the capital city, transactional consulting for an invest fund, business model preparation for the PPP prison project and the study on the feasibility of revitalizing the city hospital.
Peter graduated from financial management on the Faculty of Finances at the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica. His additional education includes the Citibank School of Banking in New York. He is fluent in English and German.
