Silvia Hallová

Silvia Hallová is a Partner in the Tax Department of Grant Thornton Slovakia. Before joining Grant Thornton Slovakia, Silvia worked for other tax advisory firms including a BIG4 firm. Silvia has broad experience in tax consulting, structuring and advising international clients in acquisitions in Slovakia.
Silvia was also seconded to Nuremberg, Germany to the Competence Centre “International Tax Law”, where she rendered tax advisory services to various international clients.

Silvia provides a range of tax advisory services including taxation of cross border transactions, due diligence, restructuring and tax planning. Her clients include various national and international companies working across a range of industries.
Silvia is specialized in providing tax advisory services for companies in the financial industry (FSI). By her previous BIG4 employer, she was the leader for tax advisory services for FSI clients.

Silvia is a licensed Slovak Tax Advisor with two-year studies of international tax law at Vienna University of Economics and Business (LL.M.). She has IFRS qualification and speaks German and English fluently. Silvia is also a member of the Methodical Legislative Commission for corporate tax by the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors and representative of the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors by “Confédération Fiscale Européenne” in Brussels for direct taxes. She is also member of the supervisory board by the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors.
